I was hired to make a video accompaniment for this Christmas song that was made to raise funds for the repair and rebuild of All Saints Church, Mudeford, which burned down in July 2022.

Initially, I was asked to use footage of the church on fire, however I felt these images could be portrayed in the wrong way with the lyric, "light up the world" so we agreed that different footage would be best.

The client then asked me to take images and footage of the aftermath, from the internet, and use them in a video reel style. I was able to convince the client that the best course of action was to use stock footage to avoid copyright violation. This also allowed me to steer the emotions of the viewer to create a storyline that would encourage donations to the cause.

This project involved a careful selection of footage and much more cutting than I expected. It took me 3 days to complete.
